On September 8, Iowa McDonald's said on Facebook that pumpkin-themed meals like Pumpkin and Creme Pie would be back on the menu.
Like the chain's Blueberry Creme Pie, this pie has one side filled with sweetened pumpkin and the other with vanilla creme.
Pumpkin and Creme Pie is sold in "Alabama, California, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
If you don't live in one of the states listed, you might want to check your local branch just in case.
Depending on where you live, a single pie costs about $2 and a two-pack of apple and pumpkin pies costs about $3.
People have said that the taste and ingredients of this pie have changed over time. The first pumpkin-filled pie came out in 2011. It was a Baked Apple Pie with pumpkin filling.
Over time, it has changed into a two-strip type with vanilla creme. A Reddit reviewer said that the taste changed over the course of 2022. One form tasted "TOO pumpkiny," like a bad pumpkin pie.
